Selvages.

 

 

I always keep my fabric selvages. They're too pretty to throw away.
I stash them in a big basket under the ironing board with a whole heap of other fabric scraps.
I've seen that lots of clever people out there make fantastic things with them...
Like whole quilts made entirely from selvage edges.

I don't.
I use them to tie up things.
Like all my old drawings from Art School.
