Craft.

This was what I did last night.
Instead of doing my own work...
I cut out pretty bits of fabric and ribbon. Bits of wool and felt. And teeny buttons.
Then I stuck them all down on some thick cardboard.
It was to show the kids at playgroup the kinds of things they could do.
If they wanted. Just ideas.

It was good. They were interested. They cut and they stuck.
There was glue everywhere. And scraps of fabric.
Then they all went out to play in the sandpit. Or ride on the scooters.
Or play with the blocks. Or in the kitchen corner. Or with the dolls house.

Then all the mums had a go...

Mum craft at Playgroup. Excellent!
A chat. A coffee. And some craft.
Some even took the bits home to work on it later.
There was even talk about moving the kids artwork, and displaying their craft 'centre stage' on the fridge.
