As well as making the usual new stock for my market stall this week, I've also
made up a few special bags for a good cause.
Little 2 year old Ruby has right-sided
hemiplegia cerebral palsy, caused by a stroke she had before she was born.
Due to this, she can't move her right hand and leg as
well as she should be able to.
There is an exciting therapy to help
with this, called AcquireC (a form of constraint-induced movement
therapy), available in Birmingham, Alabama.
This therapy costs $15,000
and goes for four weeks.
Flights and accommodation
are additional to that.
Her family are holding an online auction to raise money for her therapy trip to the US.
If you would like to donate an item or make a purchase to help Ruby get the treatment she needs, please head on over here:
Thank you.
