Measurements and markings.
Does anyone else do this...?
Or is it just me...?
I seem to have so many little measurements and markings all over my tables and sewing machines.
Done in permanent marker.
They're helpful when I'm cutting, folding, pinning or sewing.
It means I always do that one particular job in the same place.
My ironing board has lines, scribbles, measurements... it's covered.
It's looks pretty grotty, so I wont show you.

I've never seen that before! I use big quilting rulers and my cutting mat measurement to cut my bags out. I've never thought about marking the table. Must make production line sewing easier!
ReplyDeleteclever idea, as I can never find the tape measure when needed quickly! :)
ReplyDeleteYep! I do that all the time. I tend to write it on masking tape, but I like the permanent marker idea.
